Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor Unveil Romantic Melody ‘Chuttamalle’ from the Upcoming Blockbuster Devara: Part 1
Jr NTR, fondly known as the “Man of Masses” by his dedicated fanbase, is all set to share the screen with the talented Janhvi Kapoor in their eagerly awaited film, Devara: Part 1. The excitement around the film has reached a fever pitch with the release of its second song, “Chuttamalle” (titled “Dheere Dheere” in Hindi).
While the film’s first track, “Fear,” highlighted Jr NTR’s bravery and strength, “Chuttamalle” takes a different route, offering a romantic melody that beautifully showcases the chemistry between the lead characters. Set against stunning backdrops of wilderness and beaches, the song is presented from the perspective of Janhvi Kapoor’s character, capturing the profound emotions she feels for Jr NTR’s character.
The soulful lyrics, composed by Anirudh Ravichander and penned by Ramajogayya Sastry, express the depth of her love, while the visuals bring out the impressive dance moves of both stars. Sung by the melodious Shilpa Rao and choreographed by Bosco Martis, “Chuttamalle” is also available in Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi, catering to a wide audience.
Devara features an ensemble cast including Jr NTR, Janhvi Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, and Shine Tom Chacko. The film is produced by Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts, with cinematography by Rathnavelu ISC, production design by Sabu Cyril, and editing by Sreekar Prasad. Mark your calendars, as this cinematic spectacle is set to release in theaters on September 27, 2024.
In a previous interview with The Week, Janhvi Kapoor shared her thoughts on her involvement in the project, saying, “I never learned Telugu, and it’s something I regret deeply. Although I can understand it phonetically, speaking it has been a challenge. However, the Devara team has been incredibly supportive and patient. I’m grateful to be working with such industry stalwarts, and they’ve been just a call away whenever I need help with my lines.”
The release of “Chuttamalle” adds to the growing anticipation for Devara: Part 1, promising audiences a captivating blend of action, romance, and drama.
